Vouchers are available for feral or wild outdoor cats. Availability is limited to Carbon County residents and supply.

Are you a “no kill shelter”?

• We do everything possible to adopt our animals to various locations locally, and regionally. Euthenasia is only a last resort and rarely used.

What pets do I have to license with the County?

• Dogs, cats do not need licensing. Please check with the County Clerk for details

Do you Euthanize for the public?

• No, you must use the local Animal Hospitals or Vets

My neighbor's dog won’t stop barking. What should I do?

• Only dogs require a license, and can be purchased at the County Clerk's Office at 751 e 100 n.

What do I do if I find a lost or abandoned pet?

• During normal business hours bring them to the Animal Shelter at 2900 E Airport Road, Price, UT 84501.
  After hours, contact Dispatch at (435) 637-0890.

What do I do with a batch of kittens I found?

• Please leave them alone and keep an eye open to see if the mother comes back. Oftentimes they will leave them to find food and come back. If you feel their health is in danger, please bring them to the shelter.
